Receipt to Room is designed so your household paperwork stays on your device.
What stays local
Receipt images are processed by OCR bundled with the app. Images are not uploaded and are discarded after recognition. Reviewed inventory records, license token, and the most recent license verdict are stored in the app’s local webview storage. CSV, printable PDF, and JSON backups are created only when you ask.
What leaves the device
When you buy or restore the paid unlock, the app sends the license token to the Sociobot billing API to verify that it is active. Checkout is operated by Sociobot/Dodo, the merchant of record, under their checkout privacy terms. We do not receive your receipt images or inventory.
Tracking and retention
The app has no analytics, telemetry, advertising, crash reporter, or third-party runtime scripts. This website does not set analytics cookies. Local records remain until you remove them or clear the app’s data.
Your choices
You can export records, delete items, or remove app data through your operating system. For questions, email privacy@sociobot.in.
