Terms of use.
Receipt to Room is a record-keeping utility. You remain in control of what you record and how you use it.
License
The free edition may process up to three receipts. A $29 one-time purchase grants one person a revocable license to unlimited receipt intake, local records, JSON backups, and future v1 updates. It is not a subscription. Sociobot/Dodo is merchant of record and handles payment and refunds; a refund revokes the license.
Your records
You are responsible for reviewing OCR results, keeping backups, and deciding whether an export suits your purpose. OCR can be wrong. Purchase totals are historical user-reviewed entries, not valuations.
No insurance or warranty advice
The app does not provide insurance coverage, appraisals, tax advice, warranty eligibility, or claim filing. A third party may require original receipts or other evidence.
Availability and liability
The software is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or acceptance of exports. Liability is limited to the amount paid where law permits.
Fair use
Do not bypass license checks, use the service unlawfully, or interfere with billing infrastructure.
